A collection of 300 objects that make a place. My mother’s handbag is a reflection of our mother-daughter relationship and this data viz compiles the objects found in my mother’s handbag are attached to memories: some of them were very crisp, others were fading away and some others were completely fake.

This exploration resulted in the understanding that my mother’s handbag is a methaphore for her womb. It is her seal of motherhood. She carried and nurtured me me in her womb for more than nine months and this is how she did it. The most absurd, fun and sad memories are attached to objects that she carried for me. Ultimately, there is no way to measure motherhood.
